Last night Jessica had a Laurel Presidency meeting at our house. Our house is tiny and we have lots of noisy little ones, so we decided to take them on a drive to give Jessica some quiet time. Jaremy drove us to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple, the Jordan River Temple, and the Draper Temple. It was dark each temple stood out in beautiful light. It's truly a miracle to live where temples are so close. I can't wait to get there this week. I wish I had thought to bear my testimony of the sacredness of the temples to my children. But I missed this opportunity, but I will remember during family home evening tonight.
This evening we can also go visit Brother Miller in the nursing home for family home evening.
I'm so grateful for the wonderful family moments on Sunday and during family home evening. Yes, we have lots throughout the week as well. But I think Heavenly Father really blesses us for keeping the commandments of honoring the Sabbath Day and holding family home evening. I pray we can do both of these things better every week!
