Copperton Park
This morning we went to Copperton Park to enjoy playing, walking, and running there. It has beautiful, mature trees. The whole town is tiny, old, and charming. Jessica, Benjamin, and I walked around the park while the other kids ran and played. We discussed the Ebola outbreak. Right now there are 3 Ebola patients in Dallas, Texas. We wonder how it will all play out. Will it just spark then go out or will it lead to a global pandemic? The news is crazy about it, but who knows. We live in interesting times. I'm so grateful to have the knowledge of the plan of happiness and salvation. If worse comes to worse and we get Ebola we are still fine. We may be healed by His power or we may die. But if we have lived righteously that is wonderful too. The only real tragedy is sin. Of course, watching your loved ones die in agony would be terrible, much worse than having it yourself. But the Lord supports us in our trials and afflictions if we are keeping His commandments and turning to Him. What peace comes from knowing that!
