Day of Visits

Our dear friend and neighbor across the street, Jay Bryant Miller, was run over by his backhoe a few days ago.  He is still in the hospital.  He was born in our house and is now 84 years old.  He takes care of his wife, two daughters, and two great-grandchildren.  He runs a small farm and just retired from his full-time job last year.  He is happy, kind, and full of energy and purpose.  We pray he will be comforted and be able to recover.  So many people depend on him for everything (I mean everything: rides to the doctor, help going to the bathroom, help up and down stairs, meals, cleaning, babysitting, etc.).  He is amazing to do all he does even if he were a young man, but at 84....

We spent yesterday visiting neighbors, visiting teaching, and visiting the nursing home.  It was a good day.

Today is back to normal routine of school and work.  Hopefully, I can get a trip to Honeyville Grain in this afternoon.  I get excited by the white buckets filling the basement.  It's such a peaceful feeling.

Jaremy water fasted 24 yesterday.  Jessica is still going; it's been 48 hours.  We have been learning about the benefits of fasting.  It's healthy to fast 1-2 days a week.  I'm excited to try it, but I'm still nursing.  So later.

Heavenly Father's hand is in everything!  We are so blessed!
