Goal: To run a 5K before eating breakfast.
Great Idea: Run it around the park while the kids play and run at the park.

Made sure 12 shoes were found and placed on correct feet. Emptied the milks and filled baby's belly. Bound up the milks to avert black eyes. Ready to go.
Adelynn needed a t-shirt; she was too hot. Hyrum needed to pee; no surprise here. Natalie needed a drink and got distracted. Ella needed to change into running shorts. Tank didn't need to pee. Wait! On second thought... Now ready to go!
Forgot we didn't have a van. Loaded baby, tissue, binki, toys, phone, blankets, hat, helmet, and rollerblades into stroller. Unloaded rollerblades and helmet. Ignored totally flat tires. Now ready to go!
Walked a mile to the park while listening to biography on Alexander Hamilton. Planned how to fight the "big, mean dog" the kids said lurked around the corner. Ignored the dog; the dog ignored us.
Ran while kids watched the baby. Got 100 feet before the crying started. Ran a lap. Plugged a binki into the baby. Given puppy dog eyes and whimpering. Ran a lap. Set baby on blanket in the grass and let Natalie entertain him. Ran four more laps. Discovered a peculiar smell emanating from my young running partner who claimed to be only "a little bit poopy." Discovered two-year-olds are very good at estimating size. Discovered we didn't have a diaper kit sufficient for current hazmat disaster.
Made sure 12 shoes were found and placed on correct feet. (Barefootie running had been embraced.) Scolded slow-pokes because baby was screaming now. Strapped "Stinkie" next to "Squawker." Gave up on useless binki and just walked faster.
Walked a mile to Ivy 'n Pine while listening to biography on Alexander Hamilton and Jebers fussing. Planned how not to bring the kids running again. Ignored the crying; crying baby fell asleep.
Sanitized two-year-old.
Pulled, tugged, and yanked sports bras off. Nursed until baby was content and happy. Dressed in chest armor once again. Chugged some water. Relieved bladder. Left sweet baby with sweet Natalie.

Finished my 5K in under 2 hours! Cherished the excitement of 3 children who finished with me!
Skipped breakfast. Fixed lunch.
