No matter how healthy I am, pregnancy does take a lot of energy. Hormone levels can fluctuate and make some days a struggle. This is the exception, not the rule. But for the days I am having a hard time staying vertical I fall back to my five main priorities.
- Pray, study the scriptures, and write at least one of my blessings from God in my journal.
- Get ready for the day. You know brush my hair and teeth and get dressed.
- Do some kind of workout, even if it is just a couple mini-workouts.
- Feed my family, clean the kitchen, dining room, and living room, and do a batch of laundry.
- Read to my kids.
On really hard days even just doing these things can seem daunting. Thank goodness my kids and husband jump right in and help. And I thank Heavenly Father the really difficult days rare.
