This evening we enjoyed a beautiful walk along the river with the Laneys. It is so nice to get cousins together and enjoy visiting. I'm grateful for the chance to live fairly close to Kami. She has always been a dear friend and blessing in my life!

Night Games
Last night or kids got together with some of the neighborhood kids and played night games over here. We have some great youth in our area. They had a fun time. I'm glad they get to do this once in a while. I'm grateful Heavenly Father has blessed us with friends.

Amazing Children
Moroni accidentally left the last post in my blog and not his. He is a very hard worker. He doesn't mention he did those things on his own. He just noticed they needed attention and got to work. All of my amazing children are like that! I love that he is grateful that we can work. Me too! I'm grateful my children enjoy working. Heavenly Father has blessed me to have some of the most amazing, valiant spirits as my children. I learn so much from them!
Some work
Today I cleaned out the rabbit hutch ,which was filthy. I also cleaned the back padio. We did some weeding in the garden too. We have bean blessed to hard a big garden.

Business Trip Surprise
Jaremy has been in Arizona on business for five days. The kids and I thought it would be fun to surprise him by painting the living room while he was away. We ripped out an ugly knick-knack shelf from the sixties, moved furniture around, prepped for painting, and drove in. We painted the walls a cheery yellow (Spun Honey), the floor a lovely green (Pacific Pine) which we antiqued, and the wood furniture and cabinets an antiqued white. It took us several crazy days, but the kids worked their guts out. We took turns painting, cleaning, cooking, and playing with the little ones. Thank goodness Jessica has her driver's license because during home improvement projects we make several trips to Lowes a day. Jaremy comes home in four hours or so. Hopefully, he will love it as much as we do! It is playful, cheerful, and full of energy. Herriman is a coded brown town, so a punch of color is an oasis. A still have 8 coats of polyurethane to go and several other details, but it's coming along. Hopefully, the kids will feel happy about it and feel comfortable about inviting friends over now and again. I'm grateful Heavenly Father blessed us with finding the right colors (the green floor was an answer to prayer, because everything else wasn't quoting). He also blessed us to enjoy working together and have us enough energy when a were tired and still in the thick of it. Heavenly Father truly cares about all the aspects of our lives.
Today we enjoyed the Sabbath by taking a beautiful walk in Bluffdale on the Jordan River Parkway after church and naps. The kids are so cute and fun! From the oldest through the youngest they delight my heart and make my soul sing. Praise to the Lord! He has given me these precious, precious gems. They are my dear, dear friends! I pray I can show them how much I adore and cherish them!

Visit to Honeyville
I took the kids to Mom's and Dad's today. We had a great salad and enjoyed visiting on the porch while Brook, our dog, ran in the fields and swam in the Salt Creek. Mom read to us from the scriptures about the signs of the times. We talked of the affairs of the world. We live in exciting, yet wicked times. Sometimes it seems doom it's eminent, but there is great hope and happiness in the gospel and in Zion. For this knowledge I am grateful.

Raw
I've been trying to go mostly raw for over a week. I just need to adjust my emotions and learn to focus outward and upward more. Then I will be in complete control and be content. I need to lose 14 pounds. I need to remember why it is important and remember the little, constant steps to excellent health and longevity. I'm grateful Heavenly Father has blessed me to learn so much about nutrition and health. I just need to increase my self-discipline and get on top of it!
Simple Pleasures
This morning I took the dogs out into the darkness. The air was fresh, the birds were stirring, and it was beautiful. I came in and took a hot bath. It felt great to be clean. I then tidied my room while visiting with Jaremy about the news and dreams. Then I nursed Adelynn while reading my scriptures. At this point Tank had climbed into bed with us and was wrestling with Jaremy. Adelynn is asking for more milk, so I have to go. Heavenly Father has so richly blessed me. It has been a wonderful morning and it its not even seven.
Tired
I'm a bit tired this morning. Maybe I just need to do a bit of yoga to get my energy flowing.
Today I saw a man taking time to teach a curious boy at the park about his metal detector. The boy and man were strangers to each other, but I witnessed their simple, kind interaction. I'm grateful for good people who take time to acknowledge and encourage one another. Some people, especially children and youth, have such a hard life. They need all the building-up we can give them. I'm grateful Heavenly Father gives us big and little opportunities to do this.
A Night Alone
For Mother's Day Jaremy packed up a bag for me and dropped me off at a hotel so I could relax, plan, and rejuvenate. It has been so nice! I've been able to repent, pray out loud, exercise, take a long shower, pray about the kids, etc. Jaremy came and took me to dinner with Adelynn (18 months). She misses Mommy a bit and wanted her milk. Jaremy is picking up the other kids right now (9:34pm) to go swimming here at the hotel. I just nursed Adelynn to sleep. It's shaping up to be a pretty late night for us. Jaremy it's planning on coming back after he takes the kids home to tuck me in. Then he will sleep with the kids at home and let me have a solid eight hours of sleep without dogs and babies. And of that's not enough, he and the kids cleaned the house and van while I've been here! Am I the luckiest woman alive! Jaremy is such a sweetheart! I'm so blessed to have such a wonderful family who loves and cares for me. I want to be an amazing wife and mother for them! Heavenly Father has given us heaven on earth: our families!
