Visiting

Yesterday we were blessed to go visit my mom and dad and Grandma Keller.  Our van drove perfectly; we made the trip in safety and warmth; and enjoyed snacks along the way.  We are so blessed with ease and comfort.  We enjoyed a nice visit.  The kids love seeing their grandparents and playing with the toys and dress-ups there.

Today I am fasting and praying, trying to prepare myself spiritually to attend the temple this evening.  I feel I have analyzed my life and carefully chosen the path I think Heavenly Father wants me to take.  Yet it seems almost impossible to do everything necessary.  So I need to turn to the Lord, humble myself, work hard, and somehow stay focused on many different balls in the air.  My most important goal and mission statement is:  Simply follow Christ, speaking with the tongue of angels, while scattering sunshine all along the way.  I can do that no matter how long my to-do list is.  Heavenly Father will teach me and guide me on how to accomplish the rest.  So today in a weaken state from fasting I am begging the Lord to help strengthen my resolve, my diligence, my faith, my hope, my vision, and my love for others.
