Four More Days

I can't believe it! Jaremy starts working remotely in  4 days! Which means we can go anywhere we want. We are going to start by seeing family in warm Las Vegas while we build our the bus there. That will be great to have everyone working on that full-time. It should go pretty fast with that kind of focus! We are  Christmas with  the Laneys in Austin, Texas. We are so excited!

Jordanelle

Rving full-time has bought so many neat experiences for meeting wonderful people. Today I'm giving a Book of Mormon to two different families. We are staying here three days and I asked Heavenly Father to help me make three new friends. I have met 2 wonderful couples. I can't wait to share the joy the gospel brings! Tomorrow we are off to Idaho to meet up with my family. I'm so grateful Heavenly Father is blessing us with these amazing opportunities!

Full-Time RVers

We sold the house, packed the bus, and today we will hit the road! I'm so excited and nervous! I totally wonder if we can pull this off! The logistics are insane! The bus has no bathroom our even a privacy curtain right now. It's primitive! Eventually we will get the kinks worked out and build out the bus, but that will take months. Jaremy is going to be working his job plus a part-time one plus commuting extra. So it will be primitive for quite awhile. I'm excited to figure out all out! I just pray everyone in the family, especially me, had the emotional fortitude and problem solving skills this adventure is going to take! With the Lord's help we can do it!

Miscarriage

I'm in the middle of a miscarriage. It's rather disheartening. I'm experiencing morning sickness and the whole process is taking over two weeks so far. We are disappointed. And when you don't feel good it's hard. But I'm grateful for my supportive, understanding family. Heavenly Father knows everything. I'm grateful for this knowledge.

Bus Passed

Finally, after almost a year and a half, our bus passed safety inspection! We are set to go to Moab! We made a huge goal as a family to buy a bus and convert it to an RV and take trips in it. We set that goal at the beginning of 2014. Well, we did it! We prayed, worked, saved, dreamed, and planned together. We dared to have a dream because we read something from the prophets about families having goals and accomplishing them together. This goal wasn't eternal or really that important, but it was huge for us. It was something fun, something important to us, something everyone wanted. Something we hoped would provide lots of happy memories for our family. But the amazing thing was setting a goal that seemed insanely unachievable at the time and meeting it. I think the Lord was encouraging us to believe that we can be proactive in our lives, that he will help us accomplish our goals, that together as a family we can do amazing things. This is only the beginning! We can help hasten the work better then ever as we set goals as a family, pray for help, and work with laser focus on meeting those goals. It's so exciting! And the bus is pretty exciting too!

Games

We have been enjoying a few games as a family lately. I'm not always good at fun. Sometimes the to-do lists excite me more than fun. I find working fun! But it is good to spend time doing something with the kids that they enjoy. I have made some family history games and an still working on it. We've played Pounce, basketball, various tag games, etc. I think they feel my love when I do. Heavenly Father wants us to be close in work, learning, and fun! So Pounce here we come!

Benjamin's 17

I can't believe my Benjamin is 17. Where did the time go! I love my dear, sweet, strong, smart, fun, adventurous, spiritual son! Just one more year until his mission! I am going to miss him so much! They don't realize they are my everything! I adore my Benjamin! I'm so grateful I've been able to rub shoulders with one of the finest people ever! He is such a good example, has an understanding heart, inspires me and everyone to be better. How can I describe my dear Benjamin in words? Not happening! All I know is as he grows up and is away from home more and more my heart aches! Same with Jessica! These amazing, sweet people are my closest, dearest companions and friends. They are my world and have been for nearly 2 decades. They leave a huge hole when they are gone! I love my dear Benjamin! He will always be my little angel boy no matter how big, strong, and capable he gets! Heavenly Father knew we needed him! I'm so grateful I had the tremendous blessing of being his mom.
